The National Symposium on Sexual Behavior of Youth Program Planning Committee invites you to submit presentation proposals for the 2025 NSSBY.  Click here to complete Proposal Application Form.

Each proposal will need a separate application.  Proposals are due 5:00 CDT on April 30, 2024.

Presentation Formats

Pre-Symposium Seminar - A six hour (full-day) intensive seminar provided on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, before the two-day symposium.

Workshop Session - A one and a half hour (90-minute) presentation based on teaching direct skills and application to theory. Workshops can combine theoretical and experiential approaches.

Research Session - A forty-five (45 minute) paper presentation. Proposals should include conceptual or theoretical approaches, the research question(s) and designs, data collection techniques and analyses, and summary of findings.

Poster Session - Posters will be presented simultaneously in a large open forum that allows for one-on-one discussion about the research findings. Posters involve presenting data, graphs, illustrations, and text. Presenters will need to be present during session.
