Advanced Training for Problematic Sexual Behavior - Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (PSB) for Youth 13-14 Years Old and Juvenile Justice

This advanced training is designed for agencies who have an established Problematic Sexual
Behavior - Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT) program with therapists who are fully
trained to fidelity in the school-age PSB-CBT model. A Business Associate Agreement is
required.

Advanced Training is comprised of:

• Prework
• Eight to nine (8-9) hours of training over 1.5 - 2 days (depending if live of virtual).
• Six group consultation calls - once a month.
• The PSB-CBT manual for youth 13-14 years old.
• Handouts and resources.
• Fidelity review when requested. 

• Juvenile Justice
  • Agency mission, case flow, terminology, and resources
  • Safety planning
  • Case coordination, communication, and documentation
  • Responding to requests for risk assessments, polygraphs, and related topics
  • Integrating Juvenile Justice speaker in treatment
• Modification of the curriculum to address middle adolescence, including group therapy behavior management
• with teens.
• How sexual behavior rules are applied and change to be developmentally informed.
• Adolescent development, sexual health, and healthy relationships.
• Monitoring sexual situations and the impact of sex laws.
• Parent-child relationship, communication, and behavior management with teens.
• Communicating with peers and others about illegal sexual behavior.
• What qualifies as a successful graduation.
• How to manage electronic and online sexual behavior.
