Clifford Ah-in-nist Sipes, is currently with Okla. National Guard, The National Center on the Sexual Behavior of Youth, & is also a Youth Crisis Intervention & Response Trainer-Instructor. Previously with the University of Oklahoma & Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services, Clifford is an expert & trainer in prevention, intervention, & post-prevention practices & systems in the areas of public, sexual, & behavioral health, especially when related to children. Clifford has expertise & experiences working in rural/frontier, urban, military communities, college campuses, & Indian Country. He regularly provides training & technical assistance on local to national levels to juvenile justice, child-welfare, law enforcement, behavioral health, military, & education professional communities who are at high risk for harm & intervention services. Also, a published author on culturally adapted approaches for clinical based interventions for treatment & prevention of substance misuse, addiction, & problematic sexual behavior of youth in Indian Country, & the prevention of child maltreatment in military communities. Clifford is Cheyenne with Caddo descendancy. A stutter from childhood, self-taught adult literacy learner, & bicycle commuter.
