JaKarynn Conyers, MA



JaKarynn Conyers, LPC, CPCS, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor for the state of Georgia. She graduated from Argosy University with a Master of Arts Degree in Community Counseling and MFT certificate. She is currently the Project Director for the Envision Project, a grant funded program that provides specialized services for survivors of DMST (domestic minor sex trafficking). By trade, she is a psychotherapist with over 13 years of experience working with children in adoptive/foster care & youth who have experienced trauma, specifically sexual abuse, sexual assault & sexual exploitation/trafficking. She has been providing treatment to youth with Problematic Sexual Behaviors since 2016, utilizing PSB-CBT for school-aged children & adolescents; and has completed the Within-Agency Training Program and trained clinicians to implement the model with fidelity. Adding to her accomplishments, she is trained in PSB-CBT school-age model for adapted ages (13-14). She is Nationally Certified in TF-CBT and a Certified TF-CBT Supervisor.
