Allyson Kelley

Allyson Kelley, DrPH, is a senior community health scientist and the founder of Allyson Kelley & Associates PLLC. Allyson supports research and evaluation efforts as a qualitative researcher and author for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center National Center on the Sexual Behavior of Youth. Since 2005, Allyson has worked as a researcher, author, expert public health consultant, lead evaluator, methodologist, epidemiologist, and educator. Her research interests include building community capacity to address the cultural, social, and environmental factors that contribute to differences in health outcomes among underserved populations in the United States. Allyson earned her Master's degree in Public Health Practice from the University of Alaska Anchorage and her Doctorate in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has published more than 100 articles and authored four books: Evaluation in Rural Communities, Public Health Evaluation and the Social Determinants of Health, Treatment Program Evaluation, and the latest, Spiritual Healing for Trauma and Addiction.
