Erin Taylor, PhD

Erin Taylor, PhD, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center - Center on Child Abuse and Neglect, and Director of Behavioral Health for the Child Study Center in Oklahoma City, OK. She received her doctoral degree in Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Missouri and completed her undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University. Her research interests include youth engagement in electronic and online sexual behaviors as well as the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices for children with PSB and trauma.

Dr. Taylor is a National Trainer in the University of Oklahoma Problematic Sexual Behavior – Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT) model for school-age children and preschool children. She is also the Director of an evidence-based treatment program for the Treatment Program for Children with Problematic Sexual Behavior (PSB) for preschool children.

Dr. Taylor is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma and their parents or caregivers; she is currently completing training and certification for the Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) model. Previously, Dr. Taylor was trained by a developer of Multisystemic Therapy (MST) and provided in-home therapy for families of adjudicated adolescents.
